Abstract:
This component exchange system comprises: a storage unit in which are arranged a plurality of storage supports for supporting component supply tools for replenishing supply supports of a component supply unit; an operation unit including a movable carriage in which are arranged a plurality of exchange supports for supporting component supply tools to be exchanged between the supply supports and the storage supports; and a control unit for controlling the operation unit. When the operation unit is located so as to face the storage unit, the control unit performs an arrangement process for moving the movable carriage, such that component supply tools supported by the storage supports are moved to the exchange supports and arranged on the movable carriage. When the operation unit is located so as to face the component supply unit, the control unit performs an exchange process for moving the movable carriage, such that component supply tools are moved and exchanged between the supply supports and the exchange supports. In the arrangement process, the control unit moves the movable carriage such that the arrangement of the component supply tools on the movable carriage becomes as indicated in arrangement data that is set in advance.
