Abstract:

This component mounting device comprises: a plurality of switching valves that are respectively provided corresponding to a plurality of holders, said holders being positioned in a circumferential direction of a rotary head, said switching valves each switching between allowing and shutting off communication between a negative pressure source and a holder flow path of the corresponding holder; and a valve drive device that can drive the switching valve corresponding to a holder among the plurality of holders, said holder being in a prescribed rotational position. Additionally, the component mounting device can perform a negative pressure recovery action if, after a suction action is performed, a suction error in which a component is not adhered to a nozzle is determined to have occurred. For this negative pressure recovery action, if a suction error occurs in a nozzle retained by a holder, the component mounting device waits for the holder to rotate to the prescribed rotational position, uses the valve drive device to drive the switching valve corresponding to the holder, and shuts off communication between the negative pressure source and the holder flow path.
