A mounting machine of the present invention comprises a component supply device including a container section in which components are contained and a mounting section to which a container body including the container section is detachably mounted, wherein the container body is replaced when replacing a component to be mounted. Thus, work to replace the container body when a component is to be mounted can be reduced, thereby reducing the time required for mounting work and improving production efficiency. When mounting work for a second circuit substrate is performed following mounting work for a first circuit substrate, the mounting work for the second circuit substrate is performed in accordance with a program that is set such that a component in a container body mounted on the mounting section immediately before a switch from the mounting work for the first circuit substrate to the mounting work for the second circuit substrate is mounted on the second circuit substrate first. In this way, the number of times the work to replace the container body is performed can be decreased, and the time required for the mounting work can be reduced, thereby improving production efficiency.
