Abstract:
This component-mounting robot system comprises: a component transportation robot that transports a component to be mounted to a mounting position of an article on which the component is to be mounted, said component having an attachment part; and a tool that adjusts the position of the attachment part of the component to be mounted, which has been transported by the component transportation robot, to the mounting position. The tool includes a guide part that adjusts the position of the attachment part of the component to be mounted to the mounting position. The component transportation robot includes a holding part that holds the component to be mounted such that the posture thereof can be changed. In this way, said component-mounting robot system is constructed, wherein, even in cases where the component to be mounted is, for example, cylindrical, positional adjustment can be performed by changing the posture of a body part of the component to be mounted and guiding the attachment part to the mounting position in a state where the body part is held by the component transportation robot.
