Abstract:
A component separation device (30) has a board (31), a flow path (32) provided in the board (31), an actuator (39), and a groove (35) provided around the actuator (39). The flow path (32) receives fluid containing a liquid component and a solid component. The actuator (39) produces a stationary wave in the flow path (32). The construction causes vibration to be reflected by the groove and transmitted to the flow path (32) side, which reduces vibration loss and produces a strong stationary wave in the flow path (32). The component separation device (30) is small-sized and highly accurate.
