Abstract:
This component supply device (1) supplies components (P) stored in a component storage tape (100) to a component removal position (21). This component supply device (1) is provided with a component exposing unit (6) which exposes a component (P) in the component storage tape (100), which is conveyed by a tape conveying unit (3) so as to travel along a travel path (5) formed from a tape travel path forming unit (4). The component exposing unit (6) is inserted between a cover tape (102) and a carrier tape (101) and includes an insertion member (621) comprising a base part (6211) and a tip part (6212) which is connected to the upstream end of the base part (6211) in the tape conveyance direction (H). Also, in a state in which the insertion member (621) is inserted between the cover tape (102) and the carrier tape (101), the tip part (6212) is separated away from the carrier tape (101) and is inclined towards the cover tape (102) with respect to the base part (6211).
