Abstract:
This bulk-component-supplying device is provided with the following: a component supplier 82 that stores a plurality of components; a frame 96 to which said component supplier 82 is mounted; and a component-supporting member 220 on which a plurality of components discharged from an opening in the component supplier mounted to the frame are supported in a scattered state. An operator can detach the component supplier from the frame by grasping a grip 104 on the component supplier and disengaging a lock mechanism. As such, for example, while a component-holding head is being used to supply components from the component-supporting member to a subsequent step, the component supplier can be detached from the frame and a component supplier containing a new type of component can be attached to the frame. This makes it possible to switch components without stopping the process of supplying components.
