Abstract:
Provided is a composite body 10 that contains a resin and a porous nitride sintered body, wherein at least a portion of the resin fills pores of the nitride sintered body, and the surface and the inside of the composite body have different resin curing rates. Also provided is a method for manufacturing the composite 10, the method comprising: an impregnation step in which the porous nitride sintered body is impregnated with a first resin composition to obtain a resin-impregnated body; a curing step in which the resin-impregnated body is heated to cure or semi-cure the first resin composition that fills up the pores to obtain a resin-filled body containing the first resin; and a coating step in which at least a portion of the surface of the resin-filled body is coated with a second resin. The first resin and the second resin have different curing rates.
