Abstract:
Presently described is a method of making a capping block for a fence column having a waterproof shell and outer appearance of natural stone. The method comprises providing a mold (5), adding a first material (2) comprising a mixture of mineral aggregate and resin to form a first layer, ading a second material (3) comprising a mixture of glass fibers and resin to form a second layer, allowing the layers to cure to form a first position of the cap, removing the formed object fromt the mold (5), providing a second portion of the cap shaped to fit over the top of a fence column and attaching the first portion to the second portion.
