Abstract:
The invention relates to the field of new materials, and specifically, to a composite cladding for use with an electrical cable or an optical cable. The composite cladding comprises a rectangular solid base strip, and is characterized in that the composite cladding further comprises a plurality of separation components. When in use, a first snap-fit unit of one of the separation components protrudes out of an upper surface of a base strip main body. The invention resolves technical issues in the prior art of unclear color separation and an inaccurate size owing to a colored cable colored strip and a base material being mixed with each other. The invention has the following preferred technical effects: being simple in structure, smart in design, low in cost and easy to manufacture, having a clearly defined color border on a produced color cable, having no color mixing between adjacent color strips, and achieving higher compatibility.
