Abstract:
A composite crimp fiber which has a transverse cross-section having at least two areas, i.e., areas (a) and (b), and has a crimpable cross-sectional shape, wherein the area (a) is composed of a propylene polymer (A) and the area (b) is composed of a propylene-(α-olefin) random copolymer (B), the difference between the Mz/Mw ratio (A) of the propylene polymer (A) and the Mz/Mw ratio (B) of the propylene-(α-olefin) random copolymer (B) is 0.10 to 2.2, and the difference between the melting point [Tm (A)] of the propylene polymer (A) and the melting point [Tm (B)] of the propylene-(α-olefin) random copolymer (B) is more than 10°C; and a non-woven fabric comprising the composite crimp fiber.
