Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a composite drive device with a mechanical continuously variable transmission, and a control method therefor. The composite drive device comprises an input shaft assembly, a front planetary gear drive assembly, a rear planetary gear drive assembly, an output shaft and a mechanical continuously variable transmission. Two types of drive modes, i.e. a single drive mode and a composite drive mode, are realized by means of combined switching between a brake and a clutch. The present invention has the following beneficial effects: the present invention can realize free switching between various drive modes, and integrates a single drive mode with a composite drive mode, thereby improving the degree of freedom of adjustment and expanding the speed adjustment range; and input and output shafts of a front cup wheel ring disc drive mechanism and a rear cup wheel ring disc drive mechanism are located on the same axis; therefore, the composite drive device has a compact structure, and an intermediate roller can stably and reliably transfer relatively large torque.
