Abstract:
Provided is filtration and desalination equipment which can ensure a sufficient processing capacity while reducing facility costs and building costs, and can attain good operability.
Filtration and desalination equipment (10) comprises a body container (20) having the shape of a rotating body, a hollow columnar body (40) located in the inner space of the body container (20) and having one end (40a) bonded to the inner surface of the body container (20) over the entire circumference and the other end (40b) that is open, and a partition board (44) coupled to the other end (40b) of the hollow columnar body over the entire circumference of the other end (40b) and partitioning the inside portion or the outside portion of the hollow columnar body (40) as an independent space in the body container, wherein the partition board (44) is provided with a circulation port (43) through which water to be processed can circulate. The independent space in the body container partitioned by the partition board is a filtration chamber (41) being loaded with a filtration material, and the inside portion or the outside portion of the hollow columnar body not partitioned to form an independent space is a desalination space (22) into which the water processed in the filtration chamber flows through the circulation port (43).
