Abstract:
A composite material blade has a first part (6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 18,20)made of a ceramic material and a second part (4, 5, 10, 12, 16, 19, 21) made of a toughness improving material such as metal, plastic. The two parts are jointed together by the manners such as binding, welding, mechanical clamping, coating, hot press sintering or physical vapor depositing. The ceramic material and the toughness improving material are jointed firmly; the toughness improving material can enhance the shock resistance and drop resistance of the blade; the ceramic material makes the blade have better cutting performance. Therefore, the blade has the advantages of the two materials and has simple process and low fabrication and usage cost.
