Abstract:
A composite material having a calcium phosphate compound layer, the composite material comprising a base whose surface is constituted at least partly of a material (a) comprising a carboxylated polyamide having, incorporated therein, at least one member selected from the group consisting of alkoxysilane groups and silanol groups, part or all of the surface part constituted of the material (a) being covered with a calcium phosphate compound layer. Also provided is an adsorbent material for the adsorption of harmful substances such as aldehydes and heavy metals, which comprises a base whose surface is partly or wholly constituted of a material (A) comprising an organic polymer having an anionic group, wherein part or all of the surface constituted of the material (A) is covered with a calcium phosphate compound layer.
