Abstract:
Provided are: a composite material which can exhibit functions inherent in a base material thereof and can also exhibit functions inherent in a CNT, such as electrical conductivity, heat conductivity and mechanical strength; and a molded article. A composite material (1) comprising a base material (3) and a structure (7) formed on the surface of the base material (3), said composite material (1) being characterized in that the structure (7) comprises multiple carbon nanotubes (5), and the multiple carbon nanotubes (5) are connected directly to one another to form a network structure and are adhered directly onto the surface of the base material (3).
