Abstract:
Disclosed are a porous metal and rubber composite material and a preparation process therefor. A porous metal and rubber containing a solvent or a volatile substance having a certain boiling point are subjected to hot vulcanization molding or radiation curing molding at a certain temperature to obtain a composite material; the composite material is then subjected to baking, vacuum baking or vacuum extraction, and in particular is baked at a temperature higher than the hot vulcanization molding temperature so that the solvent or the volatile substance therein is evaporated or volatilized; and thus, the rubber in the composite material shrinks and the rubber in pores of the porous metal in the composite material collapses. The porous metal in the composite material prepared in the present invention protrudes out of the surface of a conductive composite material, so that the composite material is very suitable for being used as an electrical contact material.
