Abstract:
A composite material comprising a magnetic material powder and a polymer material that includes the powder in a dispersed state, wherein the ratio of the content of the magnetic material powder to the total volume of the composite material is more than 50 vol% and up to 75 vol%, the saturated magnetic flux density of the composite material is 0.6 T or more, and the relative magnetic permeability of the composite material is more than 20 and up to 35. It is preferred that the density ratio of the magnetic material powder is 0.38 to 0.65 inclusive, wherein the density ratio refers to an (apparent density)/(true density) ratio. It is also preferred that the magnetic material powder is composed of multiple particles made from the same material.
