Abstract:
Disclosed is a composite material suitable for work clothing which is worn regularly, and which not only has a high level of air permeability to reduce stuffiness during regular work hours, but also protects the body of the wearer during overheated steam eruption accidents from equipment and piping that handle high temperature high pressure steam. The composite material comprises a water repellent fabric layered with an air permeable resin membrane with an air layer therebetween, and is waterproof to 2000 - 5000 Pa, and has an air permeability of 5 - 20 cc/cm2・sec.
