Abstract:
The present invention relates to a reactor and a method for treating a composite odor by using fly ash and, more specifically, to a reactor and a method, for treating a composite odor by using fly ash, which can prepare as a lightweight aggregate low-cost fly ash (coal ash) having an excellent odor removal function and thus remove a composite odor comprising hydrogen sulfide. The present invention principally relates to a composite odor treating reactor, using fly ash, for treating a composite odor comprising hydrogen sulfide, the reactor comprising as a reaction medium a lightweight fly-ash aggregate that is formed from fly ash, cement, a foaming agent and water, wherein the lightweight fly-ash aggregate fills a cylindrical acrylic container by free-falling in a crushed state. In addition, the present invention also principally relates to a method for treating a composite odor comprising hydrogen sulfide by using fly ash, the method in which a composite odor is purified by passing same through a cylindrical acrylic container, which is filled with a lightweight fly-ash aggregate that has been formed from fly ash, cement, a foaming agent and water and then crushed.
