Abstract:
A composite optical film (1000), comprising: a first encapsulation film (100); a second encapsulation film (200) disposed opposite the first encapsulation film (100); a cholesteric liquid crystal brightness enhancement film (300) disposed between the first encapsulation film (100) and the second encapsulation film (200); and a quantum dot film (400) disposed between the cholesteric liquid crystal brightness enhancement film (300) and the second encapsulation film (200). According to the present invention, the purpose of integrating the cholesteric liquid crystal brightness enhancement film (300) and the quantum dot film (400) is achieved, and since the cholesteric liquid crystal brightness enhancement film (300) and the quantum dot film (400) are both encapsulated between the first encapsulation film (100) and the second encapsulation film (200) that have a water vapor and oxygen isolation characteristic, the dependability of the cholesteric liquid crystal brightness enhancement film (300) and the quantum dot film (400) in terms of water and oxygen resistance can be improved. In addition, since the cholesteric liquid crystal brightness enhancement film (300) can repeatedly reflect light to excite quantum dots of the quantum dot film (400) in order to improve the utilization rate of the quantum dots, the concentration of the quantum dots in the quantum dot film (400) can be reduced, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost.
