Abstract:
Disclosed is an electroconductive separation membrane for water treatment, the membrane comprising: a metal filter support in a fibrous form; a metal oxide coat layer deposited on the support; and a composite metal oxide catalytic layer applied onto the nanoparticles. Provided is a water treatment system in which the degradation of non-biodegradable organics by electrochemical reactions and the separation of particulate substance through a separation membrane can be simultaneously conducted by water treatment with the electrocatalytic separation membrane according to the present invention. In addition, such a water treatment system can exhibit an excellent treatment yield when applied to the advanced treatment of industrial wastewater and can prevent membrane fouling during batch-type and continuous type operation by controlling the sheet-type electroconductive separation membrane.
