Abstract:
The main purpose of the present invention is to provide: composite particles which can hold transplanted cells thereon satisfactorily for a period of time until the effect of the cells is developed; and a cell preparation comprising the composite particles and cells supported on the composite particles. The purpose can be achieved by composite particles each of which comprises inorganic particles adsorbed on the surface of a particle comprising an L-lactide-ε-caprolactone copolymer, wherein the constitutional molar ratio of L-lactide to an ε-caprolactone copolymer in the copolymer is approximately 75/25. The present invention also provides a cell preparation comprising cell-supported composite particles, which comprises cell-supported composite particles produced by supporting cells on the above-mentioned composite particles.
