Abstract:
Composite particles for an electrochemical element, the particles each comprising an electrode active material and a particulate polymer, wherein the particulate polymer includes a graft polymer, the graft polymer has a molecular structure including a specific backbone portion, and a graft portion that is a hydrophilic graft chain and is bound to the backbone portion, the content ratio of the graft portion of the graft polymer is 1-40 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the backbone portion, and the angle of repose of the composite particles is 20-40°. In addition, provided are: a production method for the composite particles; an electrode that is for an electrochemical element and that contains the composite particles; and an electrochemical element comprising the electrode.
