Title:
COMPOSITE PARTICLES AND ION EXCHANGE MEMBRANE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/105600
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides: composite particles which are capable of forming an ion exchange membrane that has less defects; and an ion exchange membrane. Composite particles according to the present invention comprise: pellets which contain a fluorine-containing polymer having a group that is able to be converted into an ion exchange group; and a powder which is adhering to the surfaces of the pellets and contains a polymer. The composite particles are configured such that: the average particle diameter of the powder is more than 1 μm but 1,000 μm or less; and the ratio of the average particle diameter of the pellets to the average particle diameter of the powder is from 2 to 4,500.
