Disclosed in the present application are a composite positive electrode material and a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The composite positive electrode material of the present application comprises a conductive core body and a positive electrode material coating layer coating the conductive core body, and further comprises a conductive framework, one end of the conductive framework is in contact with the conductive core body, and the other end of the conductive framework at least extends into the positive electrode material coating layer. The composite positive electrode material of the present application is high in conductivity, structural stability and compaction density, and has high cycle performance and electrochemical performance. The preparation method for the composite positive electrode material can ensure that the prepared composite positive electrode material is stable in structure and electrochemical performance, the efficiency is high, and production costs are saved.
