Abstract:
A composite resin which is obtained by reacting (a) a monool having a C�25-200? hydrocarbon group, (G) a polyfunctional compound containing a functional group reactive with the hydroxyl group of the monool (a), and (H) a compound having a functional group reactive with a functional group of the polyfunctional compound (G). When incorporated into a film-forming material, e.g., an ink or coating material, or a molding material, the composite resin serves as an excellent interfacial modifier. The modifier not only modifies the interface between a film-forming material or another material and a substrate but can modify the surface of the film-forming material.
