Abstract:
A composite semipermeable membrane provided with the following: a porous support membrane comprising a substrate and a porous support layer; and a polyamide separating functional layer provided on said porous support layer. The zeta potential of said separating functional layer at a pH of 6 is −20 mV or lower, and the difference between the zeta potential of the separating functional layer at a pH of 10 and the zeta potential of the separating functional layer at a pH of 3 is at most 25 mV. Provided is a method for manufacturing a composite semipermeable membrane that exhibits high water permeability, high salt-removal performance, and high acid/alkali resistance.
