Abstract:
A composite soft top structure of a baseball cap. Panels constituting a cap body each comprise a surface fabric (101, 201, 301) of an outer layer, a fiber mesh (102, 202, 302) of a middle layer and an interlining fabric (103, 204, 303) of an inner layer. The surface fabrics (101, 301) and the interlining fabrics (103, 303) of the front and back panels (1, 3) are subjected to double-stitch band sewing in a double-layer structure, and the side panels (2) and the front and back panels (1, 3) are subjected to double-stitch band sewing in a single-layer structure; the fiber mesh (102, 202, 302) is sewn with the surface fabric (101, 201, 301) by means of an eyelet (4); the fiber mesh (102, 202, 302) does not enter a sewing range of a double-stitch band; a shaping layer (203) formed by a silk floss piece is further provided between the side-panel fiber mesh (202) and the interlining fabric (204); the periphery of the shaping layer (203) is sewn with the fiber mesh (202) and is sewn with the surface fabric (201) by means of the eyelet (4); the shaping layer (203) does not enter a sewing range of a double-stitch band; the shaping layer (203) does not overlap a sweatband (9); and the fiber mesh (302) of each back panel (3) enters a sewing range of a double-stitch band (305) at a rear bent part. The manufactured baseball cap can effectively eliminate wearing defects, is soft, adhesive-free and suitable for water washing, ensures good matching between the cap body and the head and the overall compatibility of the cap body, has good air permeability, is comfortable to wear and convenient to carry, and facilitates embroidery and mass production.
