Abstract:
A composite structure with flame retardant and thermal insulating properties, manufactured by 3D printing, is disclosed. The composite structure with flame retardant and thermal insulating properties, manufactured by 3D printing, comprises: an inner structure including high-impact polystyrene (HIPS); and an outer structure arranged on at least the lower surface or upper surface of the inner structure so as to encompass at least a part of the inner structure, wherein the inner structure includes multidimensional pores at the microscale, mesoscale and macroscale, and the outer structure can include a thermoplastic polymer, melamine polyphosphate (MPP), pentaerythritol (PER) and magnesium oxysulfate whisker (MOSw).
