Abstract:
A composite substrate (100) is provided with a nanocomposite layer (10) and a porous light reflection member (20) laminated onto the nanocomposite layer (10). The nanocomposite layer (10) is provided with a matrix (1) having a solid skeleton (1a) and gaps (1b) formed by the solid skeleton (1a) and with fine metal particles (3) fixed to the solid skeleton (1a) of the matrix (1). The solid skeleton (1a) includes a metal oxide or a metal hydroxide such as a metal oxyhydroxide and forms a three-dimensional network structure. The light reflection member (20) is porous and is preferably formed from a material that reflects light of the wavelength that generates localized surface plasmon resonance.
