Abstract:

The present invention provides a composite transition metal precursor for a cathode active material, comprising Ni and at least one transition metal, wherein the amount of Ni is 60% or more on the basis of the total amount of the transition metal by molar ratio, and the intensity ratio (I101/I001) of a (101) face and a (001) face in XRD analysis is 0.7-1.1.
