Abstract:
In a biochemistry/coagulation analysis device used for biochemistry or blood coagulation analysis, there was a problem wherein, even when a user newly installs a reaction vessel on a reaction vessel installation rack, if a sensor for automatically recognizing the installed reaction vessel has not been installed, an automatic analysis device cannot automatically update the number of the reaction vessels, and either cannot perform an analysis because the reaction vessel is absent during the analysis, or begins with a reaction vessel that is at a different position from the one intended by the user. The present invention provides a biochemistry/coagulation analysis device which checks whether a reaction vessel is present by checking whether a mechanism for transporting the reaction vessel can grip the reaction vessel, and which either warns the user about forgetting a reset or performs the reset automatically under a certain condition when the user forgets the reset.
