The present invention relates to a composite yarn and a cloth which contain artificial fibroin fibers and cellulose fibers, the artificial fibroin fibers each containing modified fibroin and having a shrinkage history in which the artificial fibroin fiber is irreversibly shrank by contact with water after spinning.
