Abstract:

Provided are: a composition for an aqueous coating material, which enables the formation of a coating film having a sufficient self-cleaning function even when an aqueous fluorinated resin dispersion is added as an aqueous synthetic resin dispersion or when an isocyanate compound is contained as an curing agent; a kit for an aqueous coating material, which enables the production of the composition for an aqueous coating material; and an article which has, formed thereon, a coating film having a sufficient self-cleaning function. A composition for an aqueous coating material, which comprises an aqueous synthetic resin dispersion and a urethane polyol, wherein the urethane polyol is a reaction product of a polyoxyalkylene diol with an aliphatic diisocyanate, wherein the polyoxyalkylene diol has, as an unit, an oxyalkylene group having such a structure that an oxygen atom is bound to one end of a branched alkylene group.
