The present invention addresses the problem of providing a refrigerant composition which is excellent comprehensively in (1) various properties conventionally required for refrigerants, i.e., a low GWP, stability and minimized temperature glide as well as (2) essential properties required for refrigerants alternative for R404A such that the freezing ability, the compressor outlet port pressure and the COP are almost the same as those of R404A. In order to solve the problem, a composition containing a refrigerant is provided, wherein the refrigerant includes difluoromethane (R32), trifluoroethylene (R1123) and 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (R1234yf), and the mass ratio among the three components falls within a range defined by a region surrounded by lines a, c and d which connect three points, i.e., point A (R32/R1123/R1234yf=25.6/13.4/61.0mass%), point B (R32/R1123/R1234yf=25.6/3.4/71.0mass%) and point C (R32/R1123/R1234yf=3.9/36.5/59.6mass%), shown in a triangular compositional diagram in Fig. 1 in which the vertexes are the three components.
