Abstract:
The present invention provides a composition for culturing a strain for producing bacterial cellulose. Compared to Acetobacter xylinum, which is conventionally known as the microorganism with the best production yield of cellulose, a Komagataeibacter rhaeticus KOSS-15 strain cultured in a composition of the present invention exhibits high cellulose productivity while enabling the amount of a saccharide source necessary for producing a cellulose sheet of the same weight to be reduced by 5-6 times.
