Abstract:
Provided are a composition derived from ascorbic acid, a method for preparing the composition, and a cosmetic material having the composition mixed therein. The composition derived from ascorbic acid comprises a reaction product obtained by reacting an ascorbic acid modified product, which is obtained by reacting an ascorbic acid and an epoxy compound etc., and a nucleophilic reagent of a low molecular weight compound etc. containing an amino group. The composition derived from ascorbic acid is stable even when stored for a long period of time, feels excellent when used, and is excellent in terms of whitening effect and in promoting collagen production.
