Title:
COMPOSITION FOR DIAGNOSING SEPTICEMIA USING TGFBI, PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING AND TREATING SEPTICEMIA USING SAME, AND SCREENING METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/185631
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for diagnosing septicemia using TGFBI, a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating septicemia using the same, and a screening method therefor and, more specifically, to a composition screening method for preventing and treating septicemia using a TGFBI protein expression level measurement, a composition for treating septicemia including a TGFBI inhibitor, a composition for diagnosing septicemia including a TGFBI protein expression level measurement medicine, a diagnostic kit, and a diagnostic method or the like. A TGFBIp tremendously increases when septicemia occurs, and if the expression of the TGFBIp is reduced, a fatality rate, which is caused by the septicemia, and the permeability of vascular endothelial cells can be decreased. Thus, it is possible to select an anti-septic agent by using the TGFBIp and to prepare a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating septicemia by using a TGFBIp inhibitor, and septicemia can be effectively diagnosed by measuring the expression levels of TGFBI proteins.
