Abstract:
A composition for dip forming which comprises: a latex for dip forming which contains a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 100 parts by weight of a monomer mixture comprising 70-85 parts by weight of a conjugated diene monomer, 10-28 parts by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer, 2-5 parts by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated acid monomer, and 0-18 parts by weight of other monomer copolymerizable therewith, the copolymer having a toluene insoluble content of 30 wt.% or higher and a degree of swelling in toluene of 70 times or less; and a vulcanizing agent, a vulcanization accelerator, and zinc oxide which have been incorporated in the latex in amounts of 0.5-2 parts by weight, 0.25-1 part by weight, and 0.5-1 part by weight, respectively, per 100 parts by weight of the latex on a solid basis. The composition for dip forming can give a dip-formed molding which has excellent texture, has sufficient tensile strength and elongation at brake, and has excellent retention of tight adhesion.
