Abstract:
Provided are: a composition which is able to form a film that is capable of transmitting infrared light in a state where there are a few noises derived from visible light; a film; a laminate; an infrared light transmitting filter; a solid-state imaging element; and an infrared sensor. This composition contains: a colorant which transmits infrared light, while blocking visible light; an infrared absorbent; and a resin. The infrared absorbent contains a compound which has a maximum absorption wavelength within the wavelength range of from 900 nm (exclusive) to 1,000 nm (inclusive). The ratio of the minimum value A of the absorbance of the composition within the wavelength range of from 400 nm to 950 nm to the maximum value B of the absorbance of the composition within the wavelength range of from 1,100 nm to 1,300 nm, namely A/B is 4.5 or more.
