Abstract:
A composition for forming an anisotropic dye film according to one embodiment of the present invention contains a dye and a liquid crystal compound that has a partial structure represented by formula (1).
(1): -Cy-X2-C≡C-X-
(In the formula, Cy represents a hydrocarbon ring group or a heterocyclic group; -X- represents -C(=O)O-, -OC(=O)-, -C(=S)O-, -OC(=S)-, -C(=O)S-, -SC(=O)-, -CH2CH2-, -CH=CH-, -C(=O)NH-, -NHC(=O)-, -CH2O-, -OCH2-, -CH2S- or -SCH2-; and -X2- represents a single bond, -C(=O)O-, -OC(=O)-, -C(=S)O-, -OC(=S)-, -C(=O)S-, -SC(=O)-, -CH2CH2-, -CH=CH-, -C(=O)NH-, -NHC(=O)-, -CH2O-, -OCH2-, -CH2S- or -SCH2-.)
