Abstract:
Provided is a composition for forming an electrode, said composition being suitable for use as a material for forming for batteries such as lithium ion batteries and being capable of improving the rate characteristics of a battery. The composition includes a compound represented by formula (A) or a polymer having a partial structure represented by formula (B) in a side chain. (In the formula, Ry represents a hydrogen atom, -COORy1, or -CONHRy1, Ry1 represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted C1-10 alkyl group, X represents -O-, -S-, or -NRx1-, Rx1 represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted C1-10 alkyl group, Rn1 and Rn2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C1-6 alkyl group, or a C6-10 aromatic group, Y represents a single bond, -O-, or -NH-, n is 2 or 3, and the dashed line represents a bond.)
