Title:
COMPOSITION HAVING ANTITUMOR EFFECT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/094878
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
It is intended to provide a medicinal composition for transferring a chemotherapeutic agent (preferably an anticancer agent) into a cell or a living body by using a virus envelope vector. For achieving this purpose, a medicinal composition characterized by containing, as the active ingredient, a chemotherapeutic agent encapsulated in and/or combined with a virus envelope vector capable of inducing immunity is provided. Thus, an anticancer agent, which has been encapsulated into a virus envelope vector, can be introduced directly into a tumor. By using together with another anticancer agent, it is possible to induce antitumor immunity specific to tumor cells caused by HVJ-E adjuvant, thereby reducing the tumor. Moreover, a medicinal composition characterized by containing, as the active ingredients, a virus envelope vector and a chemotherapeutic agent is provided.
