Abstract:
 The objective of the present invention is to provide: a composition that can obtain a cured product having hydrophilic groups segregated to the surface thereof even by using a simplified method, a composition that can produce a cured product having hydrophilic groups, which are conventionally difficult to subject to surface segregation, segregated to the surface thereof, and a cured product obtained from said compositions; and to provide a composition suitable for obtaining a cured product exhibiting excellent, highly durable hydrophilicity and excellent surface smoothness, and a cured product obtained from said composition. A monolayer film is manufactured comprising a crosslinked resin obtained by polymerizing a composition containing: a compound (I) having at least one hydrophilic group selected from an anionic hydrophilic group, a cationic hydrophilic group and a hydroxyl group, and at least one functional group having a polymerizable carbon-carbon double bond (if the hydrophilic group is a group containing a hydroxyl group, there is one functional group having a polymerizable carbon-carbon double bond); a compound (II) having at least two functional groups having a polymerizable carbon-carbon double bond (the compound may have a hydroxyl group, but can have neither an anionic hydrophilic group nor a cationic hydrophilic group); and at least one compound selected from a surfactant (III) having a hydrophobic part comprising an organic residue, and a hydrophilic part that has an anionic hydrophilic group, a cationic hydrophilic group, or at least two hydroxyl groups, and a compound (IV) having a molecular mass of 200-1,000,000 and having siloxane bonding (neither the surfactant (III) nor the compound (IV) have a polymerizable carbon-carbon double bond). For at least one hydrophilic group of the monolayer film selected from the anionic hydrophilic group, the cationic hydrophilic group, and the hydroxyl group, the hydrophilic group concentration gradient (Sa/Da) of the surface concentration (Sa) and the deep concentration (Da) at the monolayer film thickness halfway point is at least 1.1.
