Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a composition for improving lipid metabolism, said composition comprising a culture and/or cells of a lactic acid bacterium belonging to Streptococcus thermophilus. By taking the composition for improving lipid metabolism or a food, drug or feed for improving lipid metabolism, each comprising the aforesaid composition, lipid metabolism is improved and, as a result, body weight is reduced.
