Title:
COMPOSITION FOR INHIBITING CANCER METASTASIS USING APOPTOTIC CELLS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/135660
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting cancer metastasis using apoptotic cells. Particularly, when a conditioned medium was prepared by co-cultivating macrophages and the apoptotic cells, and a mouse lung adenocarcinoma cell 344SQ with EMT induced through TGF-β1 was treated with the conditioned medium, inhibition of EMT, migration, and penetration was confirmed, and inhibition of EMT, migration, and penetration in an A549 cell, which is a human non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLS) cell line, was confirmed. In addition, the same results of cancer metastasis and invasion inhibition were confirmed in various human cancer cell lines such as breast cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer.
