Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting and preventing myopathy, containing a bean leaf extract as an active ingredient and, more specifically, contains an extract of bean leaves in R6 to R8 stages among the growth stages of beans so as to inhibit the overexpression of Atrogin1 and Murf1, which are specifically expressed in myocytes, and restore the cell vitality of myocytes, thereby having an effect of inhibiting and preventing muscle loss.
