Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composition for laser engraving capable of obtaining a relief printing plate having excellent ink-adhesion properties, and having excellent rinsing properties after laser engraving. This composition for laser engraving is characterized by: containing an acrylate oligomer (component A), a thermal polymerization initiator (component B), and at least one compound indicated by formulas (1-7) (component C); and by either not containing a resin (component D) having a weight-average molecular weight of at least 10,000, or containing same in the amount of more than 0% by mass but less than 2% by mass, relative to the total mass of the composition. In formulas (1-7): R1-R18 each independently indicate a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a substituted alkyl group, an aryl group, or a substituted aryl or heterocyclic group; L2 indicates a bivalent organic group; L3 indicates a trivalent organic group; and L4 indicates a tetravalent organic group.
