Abstract:
The present invention provides: a composition for medical use, the composition being capable of providing the surface of a medical instrument or the like with biocompatibility; an application of this composition for medical use; and the like. One embodiment of the present invention provides a composition for medical use, the composition containing a urethane resin, wherein the urethane resin has a urethane bond in the main chain, while having a polyoxyethylene structure in the main chain and/or in a side chain. In another embodiment of the present invention, the urethan resin has a structural unit derived from a polycarbonate polyol and a structural unit derived from an aliphatic isocyanate, while having at least one or more urea bonds.
